Nikki Barnett, LMSW
Nikki Barnett provides innovative and strategic leadership that supports career coaching and education programs for students and alumni. She strives to engage students, alumni, staff, and faculty in career learning communities, where students and alumni can leverage the support of others who have similar career interests or exploring possible career paths. Nikki also serves as a career coach for alumni.
Nikki has worked at the Career Center for 13 years. She received her LMSW in 2008 and embraces a strengths perspective in her career coaching practice. She has been recognized for her efforts in career services with a Student Affairs Distinguished Service Award for Student Development and received the 2018 SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Professional Service.
