Pre- Arrival Information for International Students

Housing:
All new international and domestic graduate students are guaranteed housing as long as your advance housing deposit is received by the deadline, which is May 15th for Fall admission. There is not a specific deadline for Spring admits and we do not guarantee housing for Spring admits, but we encourage you to pay your deposit as soon as possible. Please note that the application process is an online process. All new graduate students should wait until you are assigned a Stony Brook ID number, and then pay your housing deposit online by credit card on the Solar System on or before May 15th, 2020 for Fall 2020 admission.  Paying the housing deposit in Solar does not require matriculation nor NetID: http://www.stonybrook.edu/it/solar.shtml
