About Academic Standing
The University expects students to maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 to remain in good academic standing.
After each fall and spring semester there is an academic review to determine if students are in good academic standing or not.

Who should I contact if I have questions about my academic standing?
To discuss your academic standing level and prescribed follow up, please contact your academic advisor. Other general inquiries can be directed to the Academic Standing Coordinator, Michelle Setnikar, at Michelle.Setnikar@stonybrook.edu.
