Graduate Program Overview
"Fostering the next generation of leaders in Biomedical Engineering"
We emphasize an hands-on and interdisciplinary engineering approach to the complex problems facing medicine in the post-genomics age. Our curriculum provides the strong foundation necessary for undertaking advanced basic, applied, and translational research. The Biomedical Engineering department is at the nexus formed by Stony Brook University, the Renaissance School of Medicine, Brookhaven National Laboratory, and Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.
