Creating Your Professional Development Plan  - VIRTUAL

3:45pm to 5:00pm

Planning for continuous professional development is essential for career advancement. This program will give you a brief overview of ten Professional Competency Areas for Student Affairs Educators, jointly developed by the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) and the American College Personnel Association(ACPA), two prominent Student Affairs professional organizations. During this session, you will identify your proficiency levels in the following areas, which are foundational for professional growth and career enhancement:

*  Personal and Ethical Foundations
*  Values, Philosophy, and History
*  Assessment, Evaluation, and Research
*  Law, Policy, and Governance
*  Organizational and Human Resources
*  Leadership
*  Social Justice and Inclusion
*  Student Learning and Development
*  Technology
*  Advising and Supporting

 In addition, the Student Affairs NASPA/ACPA Assessment Tool (survey) will also be introduced to help you identify areas for future professional development.

Season's Greetings, Season's Eating! You are invited to join your Student Affairs Family as we celebrate the Holidays. The DLDI Team of the DI3 Committee will host an afternoon of relaxation and fun. There will be music, games, and assorted holiday refreshments. Come join us! All are welcome!

A time for socializing and networking in a relaxing atmosphere with music and light refreshments. All Student Affairs professionals, including our newest colleagues, are invited to this gathering to get acquainted with and learn more about DLDI's plans to "Bring the Spring!" Raffles for giveaways included. Hosted by the DLDI Advisory Team o fthe DI3 Committee. Open to all Student Affairs members. Save the date! Check back in January to RSVP for this event!
