A Commitment to Building a Clean Energy Future
Stony Brook University is deeply committed to advancing the accelerating offshore wind industry. Through a combined effort of our schools, colleges, centers, and industry partnerships, we are harnessing our research and educational expertise to solve the most pressing problems created by climate change.
Our rapidly expanding academic programs and workforce development initiatives reflects our interdisciplinary expertise. We've expanded our undergraduate and graduate curriculum to encompass research, knowledge and applied skills in the social, business, engineering and marine aspects of this new industry and its effect on our coastline and our communities.
In addition, SBU has developed several programs for professional education and outreach into the K-12 community.
New programs are always in development and will be listed as they become available.
