Frank Gasparo serves as the Co-Chair of Venable's Intellectual Property Litigation Group and a member of Venable’s Board of Directors. His practice encompasses both patent litigation and proactive management of intellectual property portfolios.
Gasparo represents local and international companies as plaintiffs and defendants in intellectual property disputes across the country. His litigation and trial representations have resulted in numerous favorable published and unpublished district court and Federal Circuit decisions. As a patent litigator, he has litigated cases before the International Trade Commission (ITC).
Gasparo's clients span a range of industries, including media and entertainment, fashion, financial products and services, electronics, computer hardware and software, and luxury and consumer goods.
He has taught patent law as an adjunct professor of law in New York City. He is a frequent speaker on IP-related topics.
From Brooklyn Law School, he earned his juris doctor and from Stony Brook University, his bachelor of engineering in electrical engineering.
