Research Focus

Don ZhuOur research is centered on “Engineering-Driven Medicine.” Our laboratory engages in interdisciplinary, transformative, and translational research that harnesses engineering advances in biomaterials, neuroengineering, and immunoengineering to develop innovative and improved clinical solutions for emerging challenges in regenerative medicine, skeletal disease, cardiovascular disease, and neurological disorders, etc. We benefit from state-of-the-art facilities throughout the campus, which promote a highly collaborative environment at Stony Brook University.
