Department's presence at AMP

Our department was well represented at this year's Annual Meeting on Phonology, which was hosted online by the University of California, Santa Cruz, from September 18 to September 20 2020. 

 

Jon Rawski and Hossep Dolatian presented "Computational Restrictions on Iterative Prosodic Processes", along with Nate Koser (Rutgers) and Kristina Strother-Garcia (Bloomsburg).

 

Andrija Petrovic and Michael Becker (University of Massachusetts Amherst; former SBU Linguistics faculty) presented a paper entitled “The incoherent stress of Kuikuro”, co-authored with Bruna Franchetto (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro & CNPq), Arawa Didi Kuikuro, and Yanapa Mehinaku Kuikuro (University of Campinas).
