Subject: New York State Primary Election: Tomorrow, Tuesday, June 25th!
Dear Seawolves,
Tomorrow, Tuesday, June 25th is the New York State Primary Election for federal, state,
and local offices and we want to make sure you are able to successfully cast your
ballot!
New York State has closed primary elections, which means you can only vote for candidates
in the political party with whom you are registered. If you are unsure of your current
voter registration status or party affiliation, you can check your current status
on the Voter Lookup website.
Polling locations in New York will be open from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM. If you are registered
to vote on campus and plan to vote in person, you can vote at our on campus polling
location in the Union Ballroom. If you are registered to vote on campus but secured
an absentee ballot to vote from home, tomorrow is the last day to mail in your ballot to
the Suffolk County Board of Elections.
For those registered to vote off campus, you can check your voter registration status, party affiliation, and find your polling
location on the Voter Lookup website. If you secured an absentee ballot to vote in the New York State Primary Election, tomorrow
is the last day to mail in your ballot to your local county Board of Elections. Addresses
for all New York State Board of Elections offices can be found on the NYS Board of Elections website.
