See demonstrations in piloting, imaging and programming, and learn about career pathways and training opportunities available in drone technology.
Open to anyone interested in exploring drones and future workforce opportunities. Registration is encouraged but walk-ins are welcome. Refreshments will be provided.
This workforce and community engagement event at Stony Brook Southampton is designed to gather those interested in learning more about the use of drones in a variety of industries. Led by NYPA and Drone Cadets, demonstrations of the piloting of drones, image capturing capabilities, and programming applications will spark conversation about the career and educational pathways.
For current professionals in transition or seeking upskilling, this event is an ideal networking opportunity, while K-12 audiences will receive guidance about after-school and summer drone training.
