A Long Island native since birth, Peter earned his Bachelor of Science degree from
Boston College in Business Management and Psychology. After his university studies,
Peter went on to become an officer and pilot in the United States Marine Corps where
he served for 20 years. During this time, he deployed to various locations in the
Pacific, Middle-east and Europe serving with US Forces as well as NATO and other international
commands. While stationed in California, he earned a Master of Science in Global Leadership
from the University of San Diego.
Today, Peter teaches Graduate and Undergraduate courses in Operations Management,
Project Management, and Management and Leadership for Engineers within the Department
of Technology and Society. He also works as a Management Consultant, lectures on Leadership
and Veteran Affairs, serves as the Executive Director for a regionally based non-profit,
and conducts environmental Water Quality Surveys for Friends of the Bay. In his spare
time, Peter also volunteers with the US Fish and Wildlife Service, the Nature Conservancy,
Save the Sound and other local groups.
An avid outdoorsman, Peter enjoys hiking, nature photography, hunting, spearfishing, scuba diving and traveling the globe appreciating each day and new experience.
