Driving Research

In addition to Centers, Institutes, and Economic Development initiatives that provide well-established venues for basic and applied research, and Cross-Cutting Research nodes that organize areas of concentration and excellence, the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences fosters collaboration among its faculty and across several internal and external partnerships. Strategies for driving this collaboration include seed grant programs and synergy building and visioning workshops.
