Edward and Patty Knapp Endowed Scholarship
This scholarship was established to benefit high achieving students in the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences who are interested in studying engineering or computer science. The recipient will retain the scholarship funding, in the amount of $700 per academic year, until they have completed the course requirements for a graduate degree within the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences provided that combined eligibility is met.
To qualify for the Edward and Patty Knapp Endowed Scholarship, interested students must:
A. Be a United States citizen studying at the graduate level who chooses any major within the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences
B. Be a full-time student in the College of Engineering and Applied Science for the full academic year (BOTH the fall and the spring semesters)
C. Maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average greater than a 3.0
Interested candidates should submit the following documents:
1. A completed application form
2. A one-page statement outlining personal and professional goals as they relate to your major. General statements are not acceptable; you must address academics, work, research and extracurricular activities
Important Notes:
All scholarship awards are subject to renewal of the scholarship by the donor and receipt of funding for these awards.
If selected to receive this scholarship, you will be required to furnish this office with a letter of thanks to the donor of the scholarship. Details will be specified in the scholarship offer letter.
