ashley lyleAshley Lyle is co-creator, showrunner, and executive producer of the hit Showtime series, Yellowjackets

Prior to Yellowjackets, Ashley served as co-executive producer on the AMC series Dispatches From Elsewhere with Jason Segel and wrote and produced for Netflix’s Narcos and Narcos: Mexico. She also wrote for three seasons on The CW’s The Originals

Ashley studied TV Writing with Alan Kingsberg. The script from that workshop won first prize at the Austin Film Festival.

 

 


marti noxonMarti Noxon created Sharp Objects, Girls Guide to Divorce and Unreal.  She has written and served as executive producer (or consulting producer) on critically acclaimed series including Code Black, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, Brothers & Sisters, Mad Men, Angel, and Glee. 

 

 

 


bash doranBash Doran has written on a number of hit television series including Life After Life, Traitors (showrunner), The Looming Tower, Masters of Sex, Smash, and Boardwalk Empire. She also wrote the screenplay for the Netflix feature Outlaw King.

Bash has provided a number of one-on-one mentoring internships for Stony Brook MFA in TV Writing students. 

 

 

 


courtney kemp Courtney Kemp created the 2014 television series franchise Power Universe for the Starz network. She has written for The Good Wife, Beauty & the Beast. Courtney got her big break by becoming a staff writer for the Fox hit series The Bernie Mac Show.

 

 

 

 


liz tegalaarLiz Tigelaar was the showrunner of Little Fires Everywhere and Tiny Beautiful Things. She was also a  writer and producer on Nashville and Stick It. She began her career as an assistant on Dawson's Creek.

 

 

 

 


debora cahnDebora Cahn is currently the showrunner and executive producer on Netflix’s political drama The Diplomat. Cahn is also known for her work writing for The West Wing, Homeland, Paterno, Grey's Anatomy, and Fosse/Verdon. She was part of the writing staff that won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series for The West Wing in 2003.

 

 

 


jason kimJason Kim is a Korean-born writer and producer whose TV credits include Barry, Girls, Love, Gracepoint, and Divorce.  He is currently under an overall deal at 20th Television and Onyx Collective. 

His feature work includes an adaptation of the upcoming true crime book The Flawless for Fox Searchlight Pictures and a spinoff in the Crazy Rich Asians franchise. He also wrote the book for the acclaimed Broadway musical KPOP.

Jason has provided one-on-one mentoring internships for Stony Brook MFA in TV Writing students. 

 


porter christieAisha Porter-Christie is currently a consulting producer on Marvel and Disney+'s upcoming series Daredevil: Born Again. Previously, she was a co-executive producer on The Boys spinoff Gen V and a supervising producer on The Girls on the Bus. She’s written for Orphan Black, Shadowhunters, Briarpatch, Frankie Drake Mysteries, and more. 

Aisha studied TV Writing with Alan Kingsberg where her spec script for Breaking Bad won her a TV Academy Fellowship. 

 

 


grace edwardsGrace Edwards is a Guyanese-American writer, producer, and actress who has written for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Insecure, Kevin Can F**k Himself, and Survival of The Thickest. Edwards is also the creator of the upcoming Daria spinoff film Jodie.  

Grace studied TV Writing with Alan Kingsberg.

 

 

 


futterman and epsteinDan Futterman and Anya Epstein are a married couple who wrote together and served as executive producers on HBO’s In Treatment. Futterman also wrote the screenplays for the films Capote and Foxcatcher and was the showrunner on The Looming Tower. Epstein has written for acclaimed series such as I Know This Much Is True, The Affair, Gracepoint (along with Futterman), and The Deuce.

 

 

 


kevin wadeKevin Wade wrote the screenplay for the hit comedy film Working Girl. He also wrote the screenplays for True Colors, Mr. Baseball, Junior, Meet Joe Black, and Maid in Manhattan before pivoting to television where he produced and wrote for Cashmere Mafia and has been the showrunner for over a decade on Blue Bloods

Kevin has provided internships for Stony Brook MFA in TV Writing students.

 

 


stephen schiffStephen Schiff was an executive producer and writer on the hit FX series The Americans and showrunner on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. He also wrote the screenplays for the films Lolita, The Deep End of the Ocean, True Crime, and Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps. 

 

 

 

 


erica salehErica Saleh is the creator and showrunner of the Peacock teen murder mystery One of Us Is Lying. Other credits include Evil, Instinct, Wisdom of the Crowd, and Channel Zero. She is a WGA council member and serves on the committee for diversity, equity, and inclusion.

 

 

 

 


warren leightWarren Leight is a Tony award-winning playwright (Side Man)  who was the showrunner and Executive Producer of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit from 2011 - 2022 (199 episodes). Previously, he was showrunner and Executive Producer of HBO's Peabody Award-winning In Treatment, the FX drama Lights Out, and Law and Order: Criminal Intent. 

 

 

 


soo hughSoo Hugh is a creator and executive producer of the Apple TV+ show Pachinko, where she won a Peabody Award for her work. 

Before Pachinko, she was a co-showrunner on the first season of AMC’s The Terror and The Whispers. In 2022, she launched the Thousand Miles Project incubator program for aspiring writers telling AAPI stories.

liz sarnoffLiz Sarnoff has been a writer and producer on Barry, Marco Polo, Crossbones, Salem, Deadwood, and Lost.

Liz is the recipient of 3 WGA Awards and has been nominated for 9 Primetime Emmy Awards. She was also the co-creator of the Fox crime/mystery series Alcatraz.

 

 

 


kyle bradstreetKyle Bradstreet was an executive producer and writer who worked on Mr. Robot and won a Primetime Emmy Award. He is also the creator and the executive producer of the Disney+ miniseries Secret Invasion.

Kyle was a writer for The Philanthropist, Copper, Borgia and  Berlin Station.

 

 

 


melissa gibsonMelissa Gibson was co-creator, co-showrunner and Executive Producer on Netflix’s Anatomy of a Scandal. Prior to that, she was co-showrunner and EP on Netflix’s House of Cards. She also wrote for the first two seasons of The Americans. Melissa has received Emmy and WGA nominations. 

 

 

 

 


laura marksLaura Marks is a producer and writer known for Servant, Let the Right One In, The Good Fight, and Ray Donovan. She is a PEN Award winning playwright.

Her debut graphic novel, DAPHNE BYRNE, was published by DC Comics.

 

 

 


hugh finkHugh Fink is an Emmy Award-winning writer-producer and comedian. He was a long-standing writer for NBC’s Saturday Night Live.

Fink was creator/executive producer of the Comedy Central series, The Showbiz Show with David Spade, and he co-wrote the Muppets Movie, Letters To Santa: A Muppets Christmas. For many years, he has executive produced and written The Writers Guild Awards.

 

 

 


rebecca cutterRebecca Cutter was the creator, showrunner, and executive producer of the Starz crime drama, Hightown

Her short film, Eating premiered at Sundance in 2005, and she made her feature debut in 2012 with the thriller Besties. Her other television credits include Code Black, Gotham, and The Mentalist. 

 

 

 


andrew lawAndrew Law is an award-winning writer and producer known for Barry, Hacks, and The Good Place. 

He was also a writer on Silicon Valley, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards.

 

 

 


laura easonLaura Eason was the showrunner / executive producer of Showtime’s Three Women.  She also wrote and produced for The Loudest Voice in the Room (WGA nomination), and Netflix’s five-time Emmy-nominated House of Cards

Her feature film debut Here and Now premiered at Tribeca Film Festival. She is an award-winning playwright with more than 20 produced plays and adaptations.

 

 


derek haasDerek Haas is a writer and producer who is most known for creating and showrunning Chicago Fire and FBI: International. He also served as executive producer on Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med. He has written several films such as Overdrive and Wanted.

 

 

 

 


gary lennonGary Lennon was a showrunner on Power and Hightown, both for the Starz network. He was also an executive producer on Euphoria for HBO. Lennon won a Peabody Award for the first season of Orange is the New Black.
