Subject: Have a Great and Safe Spring Break, Seawolves!
Dear Seawolves, SpringBreak is near! Classes will not meet from March 14-20. During the break, we hope you find time to relax, recharge, and enjoy time with family and friends. If you currently reside on campus, you are welcome to remain on campus during any or all of the break. Campus offices will be open regular business hours. The hours of operation for the Recreation Center, Union, SAC, LGBTQ* Center and other campus buildings may vary, so please check their websites before your visit. Campus dining will also be available. Please check the SpringBreak dining schedule to see what’s open. If you’re staying on campus during break, you can join the Childhood Trivia Night on Saturday, March 12 at 7pm, win some prizes and enjoy a relaxing night with fellow Seawolves. Check SBEngaged for other campus events and activities during SpringBreak.
COVID TESTING Although testing is not required the week of SpringBreak, we recommend you get tested if you will be on campus for some or all of the break. The deVries Center will be open regular hours, from 9am-4pm Monday through Friday, and from 10:30am-1pm on Saturday. The Chapin Commons testing location will also be open regular hours, Monday and Thursday from 10am-1pm. Please note that appointments are required. The Southampton testing location will be closed SpringBreak week, and will reopen on Monday, March 21. Please be advised that Friday, March 11 is the last day that COVID testing will be offered at the MAC Court in the Recreation & Wellness Center. If you use that test site regularly, please resume testing at the deVries Center starting Monday, March 14. We strongly encourage you to get a negative COVID test, at-home or lab test, before returning to campus, particularly if you are traveling to areas with higher COVID infection rates. Visit this CDC site to review the transmission rate in your community.
STAYING SAFE If you will be traveling off-campus, keep in mind the following:
Have a relaxing SpringBreak. Enjoy your well-deserved time off! |
