Subject:  Keep Our Campus Safe – Get Vaccinated, Wear Your Face Mask, and Participate in Required Fall COVID Testing for ALL Students

Dear Seawolves,

As we welcome you to the fall semester, we are very pleased that 86% of all students enrolled on-campus have submitted proof of their COVID vaccination.  If you have been vaccinated and haven’t yet submitted your proof of vaccination, upload your proof of vaccination today to the Wolfie Health Portal by following these instructions.  If you are unvaccinated, we strongly encourage you to get vaccinated now.  We are offering walk-in COVID vaccinations on campus.  Check the schedule HERE.  Let’s reach 100%!

We also want to remind you of the requirement towear a face mask over your nose and mouth when inside any campus building.  The only exception is when you are in your own private residence hall room, suite, or apartment, or are actively eating a meal.

In addition to a very high vaccination rate, another important public health and safety measure is regular COVID testing.  As evidenced by our success last year, regular and required COVID testing allowed us to quickly identify and keep COVID infection rates below 1%.  So, we’re implementing a robust testing requirement this fall, particularly given increases in the prevalence of the COVID delta variant.  Your participation is expected so that we can continue to enjoy in-person classes and many social activities.
