CSTEP Club

CSTEP Club is a SBU student-run organization with the goal of fostering a community of scholars.

CSTEP Club is the “social arm” of the Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) at Stony Brook University. This means that its purpose is to build community and foster friendships among students through fun, engaging activities that reflect the interests and diversity of the organization’s student body.

The student-led executive board hosts several events each semester, from workshops aimed towards enhancing students’ marketable skills to cultural/holiday celebrations. It also notifies its members of networking opportunities, community service actions, and so much more! Since CSTEP Club is recognized by SB Engaged, and because its affairs also pertain to students beyond STEM, any student is welcome to join regardless of field of study or CSTEP membership.

For the CSTEP Club there is no formal application, just a registration process.

Every CSTEP member can be in the CSTEP Club.  However, not every CSTEP Club member has to be/can be in CSTEP.
