Jacquelyn Weisman

Interim Chief Campus Counsel

Jackie Weisman is Interim Chief Campus Counsel at the Stony Brook University Office of General Counsel. She is responsible for overseeing all legal matters for the University's academic campus, hospital system, and veterans home.  

Prior to joining SUNY in 2017, Jackie served as in-house employment counsel at Canon U.S.A., Inc., and was an associate in the Labor Department of Proskauer Rose, LLP. Jackie earned her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Columbia University, and her Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law. Jackie is admitted to practice in the State of New York, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
