2022 NSF CAREER Foundation-Wide Program Briefing: Learn about the program and solicitation requirements
NSF is providing information on the NSF Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) program solicitation NSF 22-586 at webinars on Tuesday, May 10, and Monday, May 16, 2022, starting at 2:00 PM Eastern time each day.
Both webinars will include the same briefing on the CAREER program and key solicitation requirements followed by a question and answer session. (Faculty who are interested need to attend only one.) Prior to the webinar, submit questions to NSF CAREER Webinar Questions.

NSF CAREER Proposal Submission Logistics Webinar: Learn system-related information to assist with CAREER proposal submission
Representatives from NSF's Division of Information Systems will hold a technical webinar on system-related information to assist with CAREER proposal submission for the NSF Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) program. The webinar will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2022, from 2:00 to 3:30 PM Eastern time.
This webinar will include a review of the system-related requirements in the CAREER proposal submission timeline guidance, a demo of how to prepare a CAREER proposal in Research.gov, and a question-and-answer session. Submit questions for the question-and-answer session prior to the webinar by emailing them to careerproposalprep@nsf.gov.

Registration is now open for the Federal Demonstration Partnership (FDP) Virtual September 2021 meeting, taking place Monday, September 20th at 11:00 AM EDT through Thursday, September 23rd.
FDP has an exciting agenda planned, kicking off the meeting with NIH walking through their NIH-wide Strategic Plan FY2021-2025, followed by the traditional Federal Agency Updates, the latest from the Foreign Influence Working Group, the Faculty Forum, and opportunities to participate and interact with one another.

Please note that registration is a two-step process.
- Register for the meeting itself as Guest of FDP, and pay the registration fee.
- Sign up for each individual session you wish to attend, which can be done on the registration confirmation page, or through the confirmation email that will be sent to you upon successful registration. You will receive the links to the individual sessions when the second step has been completed.
Feel free to circulate this announcement and FAQs within your colleagues. It provides educational information about the FDP, the FDP meetings, and how to stay up to date with FDP activities. These May 2021 Meeting Summaries, containing slides and videos, provide an example of what to expect at an FDP meeting.
NSF Proposal and Award Policy Update – Webinar Registration
The National Science Foundation (NSF) is pleased to announce that it will offer an NSF Proposal and Award Policy Update Webinar to the research community on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from 2:00 – 3:00pm EST. There is no cost to participate.
The Webinar will provide an overview of significant changes and clarifications to the PAPPG that will take effect on October 4, 2021. The PAPPG Webinar details NSF's proposal preparation and submission guidelines and provides guidance on managing and monitoring the award and administration of grants and cooperative agreements made by the Foundation.

The 2020 NIH Virtual Seminar on Program Funding and Grants Administration was held October 27-30, 2020 and was filled with an array of informative sessions. If you were unable to take part in the live sessions; videos, transcripts and slides can be found at https://grants.nih.gov/virtual-seminar-2020/presentations.html. The sessions are geared towards various constituents from administrators to principal investigators and cover an array of topics including policy guidance, proposal preparations and compliance.
The NSF Virtual Grants Conference was held in late November. The event was designed to give faculty, researchers and administrators key insights into a wide range of current issues at NSF. NSF staff provided up-to-date information about the proposal and award process, specific funding opportunities and answering attendee questions. Free Registration for the Fall 2020 NIH Virtual Seminar on Program Funding and Grants Administration!
- Demystify the application and review process;
- Clarify federal regulations and policies; and
- Highlight current areas of special interest or concern.
Who Should Attend?
This seminar is designed for those who are new to working with the NIH grants process – administrators, early stage investigators, researchers, graduate students, etc. For those with more experience, NIH experts provide a few sessions that are designed for participants that are more advanced and are focused on more in-depth policies and processes.
What to expect?
You may be familiar with the NIH Regional Seminar and wondering if this is the same event, only virtual. Although it is very similar, it is not the same event. This seminar is scheduled over four days from 1:00pm – 5:45pm EDT depending on the day. There are three different tracks which include 45-minute sessions (view the Agenda tab for a list of all the sessions).
