Yueqi Song

MA Student

Yueqi Song is an MA student in Critical Music Studies. They received their B.A. from Kenyon College in Music and Classics. Their current research interest lies in music circulation in Early Modern Europe, especially the emergence of music printing, print culture, materiality, formation of the canon, and music’s role in empire-building and colonization. Further interests include sound studies, postcolonial theories, and sounds and silence in protests.
