Plan a Visit!

We are very happy to welcome you for an individual visit to the undergraduate music program at Stony Brook. Contact the head of the Undergraduate Program Deborah Heckert at deborah.heckert@stonybrook.edu to arrange for a visit. Working from your particular interests, we can arrange a department tour, a sample lesson with one of our studio instructors, and/or a meeting with one of our composition or music technology professors. We can arrange for you to shadow an undergrad major throughout the day to drop in on ensembles and academic classes, and generally to see how Stony Brook could fit your interests and goals for your music studies!
