Undergraduate

Students who wish to take an informal assessment to get permission to enroll in ARB 112 must be able to do the following. 

• pronounce and write all Arabic alphabet and numbers from 1 -10
• read and write short sentences in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA)
• name at least 300 objects in MSA (not colloquial Arabic)
• hold brief conversations in MSA (self-introduction, greeting, etc.)
