and Malcolm Lowry, from the novel of F. Scott Fitzgerald.
Margerie Bonner (February 17, 1905-September 28, 1988) was an American actress, scriptwriter, and novelist. The wife of Malcolm Lowry (1909-1957), she was known for her support of her author husband while he wrote his best known novel, Under the Volcano, considered one of the finest novels of the 20th century.
Clarence Malcolm Lowry (July 28, 1909 -26 June 26, 1957) was an English poet and novelist who is best known for his 1947 novel Under the Volcano, which was voted No. 11 in the Modern Library 100 Best Novels list.
