lacs graduates
LACS is a lively and committed space for graduate student research and connection. Along with encouraging graduate students to organize their own lecture series, panels, and movie nights, LACS offers multiple summer research fellowships to students who need to travel to Latin America or the Caribbean for their dissertation work. In the past, Stony Brook and Columbia Universities have collaborated on a Latin American History conference, which we hope to revive as a works-in-progress series in the future.
