TOPIK Exam

TOPIK is the only official standardized test for Korean language proficiency for foreigners administered by the Korean government. The test results can be used for local university applications, as well as employment purposes. There are two levels to choose from: TOPIK I (Basic, Level 1-2) & TOPIK II (Intermediate & Advanced, Level 3-6). The total test score will determine your proficiency standing between Levels 1 through 6.

Registration Dates for Spring 2019: February 1 (Friday), 2019
 
Test Date: April 20 (Saturday), 2019

Test Venue: Melville Library (Room TBA)

To register you need:
1. A completed application 
2. 2 photos (3cm x 4cm) attached to the application (Email the image to the center if you cannot make color-prints. The center will print it for you.) 
3. Fee: TOPIK I ($20), TOPIK II ($30) **Cash or check, in case of check: make it payable to Korean Consulate General

Submit all materials to: Center for Korean Studies, N5520 Melville Library. For the Spring 2019 exam, please fill out the form attached and email it to sanghyeon.kim@stonybrook.edu as soon as possible to secure a seat. Fee should be submitted to the Center for Korean Studies during the week of January 29-February 1, 2019.
