Immigrant brothers from Italy Primo and Secondo open their dream restaurant. However, their food is unfamiliar to the local palate, and the restaurant is struggling. In a final effort to save the restaurant, the brothers plan to put on an evening of incredible food. Join us to find out if they succeed!

Mary Jo Bona, Distinguished Professor Emerita, has established an endowed lecture series for WGSS. Loredana Polezzi, Alfonse D'Amato Chair, has been refinished as a global top scholar. Karen Lloyd, Dept. of Art, has won a SUNY Chancellor’s Award for excellence in teaching.
Congratulations to Emily DiCesare
Emily DiCesare, a soon-to-be Junior in the Biochemistry Program at Stony Brook University, has been awarded the Rube Family Scholarship in honor of Jennifer Rube by the Vincent Lombardi Lodge #2270 of the Order of the Sons and Daughters of Italy in Rochester, New York. During the Fall 2024 semester, she served as Teaching Fellow in Christine Griffiths' SBU 101 course and visited the Center for Italian Studies on a regular basis. Emily is a strong student, encouraging mentor, and aspiring doctor! Congratulations, Emily!
