Assessment

  • Assessment will be a significant component of the Stony Brook Curriculum.  Courses in the SBC will be assessed periodically for the purposes of recertification.  For the initial proposals, departments do not need to submit complete assessment plans, but instead should focus on delivering the pre-defined learning objectives.  However, for context during this phase of implementing the curriculum, departments should refer to the documents related to assessment, as produced by the Faculty Center.  http://facultycenter.stonybrook.edu/assessment/designing-assessment-plan
