Teacher Education Programs: English

The English Teacher Education Program at Stony Brook University is designed to prepare excellent English teachers for grades 7-12, with an optional extension for grades 5-6. The program, which is offered in conjunction with the Department of English, offers two options that lead to New York State teacher certification:
