2025 Grad Pumpkin Carving Social

The Department of Civil Engineering's recent social was a smashing success, providing a vibrant and welcome change of pace from the intense analysis and focused problem-solving of daily academic life. Laughter and friendly chatter filled the outdoor space as students put their design skills to a fun, hands-on test, creating clever pumpkin patterns while enjoying a feast of pizza, cheesecake, donuts, and apple cider. We were thrilled by the support shown by the faculty members who stopped by and those who got their hands a bit messy too, reinforcing the department's commitment to community and non-academic engagement. This event was such a success that we are excited to make it a new tradition, perhaps even adding fun prizes for next year's most ingenious designs!
