Folnetti Alvarez is a biomedical scientist specialized in basic/translational cancer research with experience in method development, publishing/presenting, project management, clinical trial design/implementation, teaching/mentoring, and drug/technology commercialization. He received his PhD under the mentorship of Dr. Chioma Okeoma at Stony Brook University and is currently a postdoctoral scholar in the Lipid Cancer Lab at the Stony Brook Cancer Center under the mentorship of Dr. Chris Clarke.
