Why I chose to join IRACDA NY-CAPS

I choose IRACDA because it offers the opportunity to develop academic skills not only through seminars and workshops but also with the mentored teaching in three different undergraduate institutions. I come from a research-intense institution; however, I intend to seek a position at a primarily undergraduate institution. I believe this is an excellent opportunity to experience the diversity in the classroom and to know more about how to reach my future students.
