Meet SWE!
The Society of Women Engineers is a national organization that empowers students in engineering and technology. At Stony Brook, SWE hosts a variety of professional and social events through workshops, company tours and lectures, participates in community outreach throughout the academic year to help students achieve their goals. MISSON
Part of a national organization, the Society of Women Engineers aims to motivate students to become leaders in their careers as engineers, expand the idea of engineering as a means of improving the quality of life, and increase the diversity of the engineering profession.
SWE is an organization that represents both students and professionals in engineering and technical fields. SWE at Stony Brook actively assists its members in professional development through workshops, company tours and lectures.
This organization is open to all members of the Stony Brook community regardless of gender.
