The Stony Brook Centers for Molecular Medicine and Biology Learning Laboratories has a dual mission to produce new knowledge and new discoveries that will lead to breakthrough drugs and lifesaving diagnostics and treatments, and to nurture and develop the next generation of leading scientists and researchers.
The guiding principles of the CDG are collaboration and interaction between students and researchers, between scientific disciplines, between the theoretical and the clinical to create a dynamic synergy that will achieve results that no single researcher could achieve alone.
