"I've been with Protiviti a little over a year and have enjoyed the project variety and work flexibility that the company offers. In my last project, I developed deep expertise, becoming a subject matter expert and the key client contact on the project area. I am also involved in local office activities such as office communications and employee network groups. During the pandemic, the firm reinforced the idea of "one company, one office" and that continues to be relevant as the firm encourages relationship building. I have been able to work with individuals across the US, giving me the opportunity to network across offices and learn more about other practices. I have also been able to meet individuals with shared interests through advisors and employee network groups - this past August and October, I attended professional conferences with colleagues on behalf of Protiviti and Robert Half. Protiviti has been named one of the "Best Firms to Work For" by Consulting magazine for the ninth consecutive year. My managers have cultivated a team environment where all questions, even "silly" questions, are allowed and team members have been more than willing to help. When I first started, my advisors highly encouraged me to get involved. I knew that I wanted to have a community around me and was welcomed into the local AAPI employee network group (ENG). Now, I'm currently in a leadership position in the ENG and have represented the firm at several conferences, networking with students and professionals. "

"As a BPI Intern, I had the opportunity to work on many projects ranging from internal to client facing. I've worked on ERP implementation, analyzing settlements and financial modelings, and assisted with overview deck for innovation. Working for Protiviti, I was able to get a grasp of many areas within my solution, which had propelled me to understand what avenue of consulting I prefer. Though some projects were much more difficult, my team was reliable and available to answer any of my concerns. Protiviti has many opportunities for networking. During my time as an intern, we traveled to Texas and had the chance to network with other interns and employers from different offices. A personal favorite was participating in their annual cruise networking event that had returned after two years. We were given advisors who would refer us to other consultants that enabled interns to shadow their projects for exposure. Within my office, we also had a weekly solution day for our division and occasional happy hours that allowed us to connect with our coworkers. "Protiviti is people", the culture emphasizes the well-being of their employers more than anything and my experience was nothing less than positive. Interns were able to have conversations with the CEO and executives without adhering to the sense of hierarchy. There are also weekly events available ranging from lunch to baseball games. With these opportunities, I was able to grow professionally while making meaningful connections. In the short months with Protiviti, I was able to live their reputable company culture - I can confidently attest to their recognition on Forbes as Best Companies to Work For!”
