Research Interests

My research interests include broadening the understanding of the ethnographic process to be inclusive of native sources as well as conventional anthropological studies. My field of interest is Latin American and Native American cultures. I incorporate multi-disciplinary sources, such as: anthropological research, regional history, ethnic literature, contemporary film and art; in an effort to gain a holistic understanding of ethnic culture and identity.
