What is the role of the Campus Health Response Team (CHRT)?
The University’s Campus Health Response Team is a vital component of our overall campus health and safety program. Specifically, the team is here to help guide students for a variety of reasons related to infectious disease.
-
- Students who have tested positive for COVID-19, flu, or other viruses can speak to a CHRT member to discuss guidance.
- The team is also currently speaking with individuals who are concerned about possible exposure to Monkeypox. They are able to direct those exposed to resources in the community.
- If a student has been exposed to someone with or has tested positive for measles, mumps, or rubella, the CHRT member can gather vital information to guide the individual and protect potentially exposed campus members.
NOTE: The CHRT does not provide medical advice. They can however direct you on how to seek care for communicable diseases and common sexually transmitted infections (STI's)
