Study in Beautiful Florence!

Italy is home to the first higher learning institute in the Western world. During this three week travel-study program, students will have the unique experience to discover universities in the European context. This is a unique and valuable opportunity to gain an academic and cultural understanding of higher education.  Class begins on July 18 (departure date on July 16) and runs through August 5, 2022 in Florence, Italy.  For those students who cannot stay for the full three weeks, arrangements may be made to complete the class online.

Program highlights:

• Visits and lectures on Institutions of higher education: Florence University of the Arts, Apicius (International School of Hospitality), Lorenzo de' Medici (The Italian International Institute), Politecnico University of Milan, and possible other institutions
• Attend lectures by local professors and administrators about education in Italy and the administrative structures of their universities
• Meet with Italian faculty and administrators
• Hands-on culinary workshop
• Farewell dinner
• Students will live in shared apartments and will experience living, shopping and cooking in Italy
