Purpose
To demonstrate use of a sound level meter.
Equipment
Sound level meter with TV camera and monitor display, lamp, Gas Pressure Model, Twirl-a-Tune with Vacuum Cleaner, protable audiocassette player with earphones.

Description
The sound level meter is viewed by a TV camera and displayed on a monitor. Several loud sources are provided, including the Gas Pressure Model with ball bearings, the Twirl-a-Tune with Vacuum Cleaner, and a portable audiotape machine with earphones. It is easy to get over 100 dB in the earphones.
