Nariman Boyle, MD is the Director of Ophthalmic Plastic, Orbit and Reconstructive Surgery and Residency Program Director at Stony Brook, department of Ophthalmology. Dr. Boyle is an oculoplastic surgeon and academician and has trained residents and medical students. She worked on new product development for clinical applications (Face Shield Apparatus). She recently received a departmental research award for application of Hololens2 and Mixed reality in oculoplastic surgical and presurgical planning and resident teaching.
Dr. Boyle is a member of the prestigious American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, ASOPRS. She received her fellowship training in oculoplastic at USC, Doheny Eye Institute, ocular oncology at the University of California San Francisco, and in ophthalmic pathology at Emory University School of Medicine and Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. She has been the recipient of several honors and awards, including the Merrill Reeh Pathology Award presented by ASOPRS, as well as grants from Fight for Sight America and Knights Templar Eye Foundation. She has authored many publications in peer review articles and book chapters.
