  The FDA approval process for new drug development can be long and arduous.  This presentation highlights the development of Collagenase Clostridium Histolyticum, now FDA approved and marketed as Xiaflex.   Xiaflex is an injectable used to treat Dupuytren Contracture, a debilitating hand disorder, previously only treated by surgery.
