Student Engineering Academy
Our department is committed to make electrical and computer engineering accessible to all audiences. Among our efforts we offer opportunities for middle school students and teachers during the academic year and as summer offerings. The Academy is supported by the National Science Foundation, National Grid and PSEG.

Teacher Engineering Academy
Participants will learn how to incorporate engineering in their classrooms as they begin to transition to NYSSLS. Hands-on engineering activities will be included.
Counselors Engineering Academy
Join us to learn about engineering, engineering careers and opportunities for students to be better prepared for success in engineering study and careers. School counselors will engage in presentations on:
- Pre-college coursework
- Admissions Considerations
- Engineering Disciplines
- Engineering Job Market
- Pre-college extracurricular programs in engineering
Explorations in STEM
This program offers research experiences in STEM disciplines to undergraduate students during the summer. The program is partially sponsored by PSEG.
