Yousef El-Laham Wins Best Student Paper Award at ICASSP 2019

ECE PhD student Yousef El-Laham was awarded a Best Student Paper Award at the International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing (ICASSP 2019).

Yousef received the award for his paper, coauthored with ECE Professors Mónica F. Bugallo and Petar M. Djuric, titled "A Variational Adaptive Population Importance Sampler."
