IEEE is an international professional association. It is the leading authority in technical areas ranging from computer engineering, biomedical technology and telecommunications, to electric power, aerospace, consumer electronics as well as other areas. The Stony Brook chapter of the IEEE’s main focus is on giving members opportunities to advance their knowledge and provide an environment where they can more easily find a job upon graduation. This chapter aims to be a technical resource for students and a tool to utilize in advancing their careers.
