A musician playing a trombone on stage with a double bass player in the background, in a live jazz performance setting.Elliott Brown is a trombonist, composer, and educator based out of the NYC metropolitan area. Versed in both jazz and classical pedagogy, he is a graduate of Berklee College of Music B.A. 18’ with concentrations in jazz composition and performance, and from Queens College 22’ M.M. where he studied Classical Trombone Performance. Currently he is at Stony Brook University completing his Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Jazz Performance and is anticipated to graduate May 25’. 

“My artistry is more than just expressing myself through music. It’s about the people that I interact and grow with everyday. Being an artist is being a part of something much greater than myself. Music is that world I immerse myself into, and the Trombone is my medium.”
