Person sitting on a stone wall in Central Park, New York City, with trees and a pond in the background.María Medín-Doce (Galicia, Spain) has studied a Degree in English Language and Literature at the University of La Coruña, where she also earned an Interuniversity Master's Degree in Advanced English Studies, in which she organized her studies in the specialty of Literature and Culture, and a Master's Degree in Secondary Education in Foreign Languages. Maria is currently pursuing her doctoral studies in the Department of Hispanic Languages and Literature, where she also teaches Spanish. She has also completed the Advanced Graduate Certificate in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Maria's research interests include displacement narratives, and gender and feminist studies.
