Who We Are

Office of Audit & Management Advisory Services' objective is to assist the President and University management in the discharge of their oversight, management, and operating responsibilities.  The Office's primary activity is to operate the University's internal audit function that independently examines and evaluates the ongoing control processes of the University and provides counsel and recommendations for improvement.

Stony Brook University is committed to the responsible stewardship of our funds and other resources and encourages any University employee or other individual who is aware of or suspects acts of fraud, waste, abuse or other irregular activities to report such acts.
