OUR MISSION
The S-STEM ASSETS program at Stony Brook University exists to:
- enhance the academic and professional skillsets of its students
- support transfer student success in STEM majors
- support transfer student success at Stony Brook University
OUR VISION
We support students through a coordinated program of activities that address the academic,
social, and professional transition points that transfer students often find challenging. Foremost among these
is to build a community of scholars majoring in STEM disciplines. These students
upon graduation will play a role in addressing the United States' continued need for
a highly skilled and knowledgeable workforce.
