Biography:

 Weiwei Zhang received a Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages from East China Normal University. She is a Chinese professional with years of experience teaching Mandarin, including its cultural and linguistic aspects. She is one of the highly reputed teachers at the Center for Chinese Learning at Stony Brook. She creates an immersive learning environment and incorporates interactive activities in the classroom. With a structured curriculum, she provides differentiated instruction to accommodate students' varying learning styles and proficiency levels. She has organized students participating in cultural programs  both locally and overseas for years. Besides teaching, she is also interested in Chinese folklore, calligraphy, folk dance, and Chinese cooking. She served as a board member for the Port Jefferson Dragon Boat Festival and Suffolk County Asian American Advisory Board.
