Michael Rohan

Michael J. Rohan, Principal, Energy & Engineering at Northwell Health, holds three plus decades of experience in all aspects of engineering, energy, and facilities management: including budgeting and forecasting, career development and secession planning. As a seasoned project executive Mike provides innovative strategies to facilitate energy and infrastructure projects at reduced expense with improved outcomes.
 
Prior to joining Northwell Health in 2003, Mike's career path included power plant management and operations, shipbuilding, and shipboard engineering.  For the past five years, Mike has been directly involved in the development of the New York City Climate Mobilization Act, and the centerpiece Local Law 97; as a member of the Energy Grid, Hospitals, and Cogeneration Working Groups, as well as the Mobilization Task Force.
 
Mike holds a Bachelor of Engineering from SUNY Maritime College, an MBA from Long Island University, and a Master Certificate in Healthcare Leadership from Cornell University.
